Moving an Existing Drupal Git Repository into Acquia Dev Cloud without Losing History

Tue, 04/10/2012 - 20:01 -- Russell Keppner

So after much investigation and deliberation, we decided as a shop to do our Drupal hosting on Acquia Dev Cloud. We’ve been working our way up the abstraction stack (first we got out of taking care of hardware, moving everything to hosted services or virtual private servers in the cloud), and luckily this takes us about as far as we can go. No more initial build-out of a new web server, and no more handling OS-level security upgrades. Woohoo! Now I can just focus on building cool sites.

Mentored Drupal Video Training at ASU

Sat, 03/10/2012 - 09:00 -- Matt Giambrone
Come and Learn Drupal at Your Own Pace, Mentored by Local Drupal Experts. We’ll even provide lunch so you can keep on networking and learning. Unlike traditional workshops, instead of spending the full day in lectures, each student will work at their own pace through a set of comprehensive, focused training videos covering one or more of three broad areas of Drupal skill sets: Site Building, Module Development and Theming. Experienced mentors will be available to help students answer questions on a one-on-one basis, work through sticky spots, or demonstrate additional examples to help clarify difficult concepts.
