Last month was an interesting one for the Ashday office, when for one week we packed up our computers and made the journey to New Orleans for DrupalCon 2016. This was only my second DrupalCon - having also gone to Los Angeles in 2015 - and it far exceeded my already-high expectations set by last year's.

Don't forget clean underwear

If you're curious why next week there are no milk jugs outside the door and the kids aren't playing in the yard, it's because the Ashday crew is headed to DrupalCon New Orleans!

This year looks pretty dang exciting now that Drupal 8 is in full swing. Gone are the days of "When it? Will it?" and here are the days of "Doin' it!". This year's con is full of great stuff if you're following the world of web. Here are some of our favorite topics.

Here and Gone DrupalCon

Tue, 05/19/2015 - 17:01 -- Clint Randall

Another year, another DrupalCon, another pile of things I really really want to learn and do. Good signs of a good conference right? It's always such a treat, filled with meeting so many people working in the field, vendors providing ever-growing services, sessions on the cutting edge of web development, and free beer and ping pong. Ashday also sponsored a BOF room for the second year in a row, which was fun.

This year, there were a lot of takeaways, but here are some of the highlights.
